Then I saw the trailers and my excitement grew even more
In the film The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier generation model. He is mentioned by Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington / Paul Mescal / Saoirse Ronan / Eddie Redmayne / Blossoms (2024). I’ve been waiting for The Day of the Jackal since I first heard about it.
I was wrong because he did it brilliantly
Well, after watching it, I can say that it certainly lived up to my expectations. Everyone already knows that Eddie Redmayne is a fantastic actor, but I still had my doubts about his interpretation of this role. He plays the anti-hero perfectly and makes you wish him luck.
I definitely recommend this series
It is best to watch this series straight through because I can promise that once you finish one series, you can’t wait to start the next one. When Redmayne’s character (The Jackal) is on a mission, you are on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. The Jackal reminds me of a James Bond spy character, but he has gone bad.
